In the Future Now Universe, five factions fight over who controls humanity's future. Each believes their vision will result in humanity's salvation - at least how they define it. However, these factions are far from one united monolithic group. Each faction comprises five sub-factions.

The Transhumanists are a diffuse faction with varying ideologies that ultimately believe in one thing: the future of the human race does not exist in the human form. The Paradisians

The Paradisians operate on the belief that we have the technology and the processes to create a sustainable society right now. In fact, they believe that inequality has never been a technological problem, it’s a societal one. If we chose equality and sustainability over greed then the world could be changed in a generation. The Off Worlders
